Meet Joy Reed, our new Chief Operating Officer

Joy Reed has joined Charles River Center as our Chief Operating Officer. She manages the four divisions of Charles River Center: Day Habilitation, Employment and Day, Family Support and Residential Services.
In welcoming Joy to the organization, President Anne-Marie Bajwa stated that, “Joy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization at a crucial time, and we are thrilled to have her join the Charles River Center community. She is well respected in the industry for her passion and collaborative style. I have no doubt that Joy will contribute greatly towards the fulfillment of our mission.”
Prior to
joining Charles River Center, Joy worked for 20 years at BAMSI, a private non-profit human
services organization in Brockton, MA, that provides services to people with developmental
disabilities, mental illness, behavioral health, and public health needs. At BAMSI, Joy began her career as the Director of Day and Residential Services and advanced in her career to become the Executive Vice President/Senior Vice President. In that role, she provided oversight of the daily operations of a large network of programs and services for over 1,000 individuals and employed nearly 1,600 staff.
Joy has a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Master of Education degree in
Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University.
